Artist Statement

My extensive art conservation and museum experience has been a strong foundation for my creative process that has

been ongoing for over 35 years; now able to devote full time to the endeavor. I began the journey when I was accepted

at the Kansas City Art Institute;  but as fate would have it, I soon began a long career in museum art conservation and

preservation. I am now able to devote my time to painting and fall back often to that experience for inspiration and

creativity, letting nature and life experience be my guide. I am currently represented by Justus Gallery of Fine Arts

in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
